These cables seemed to be a good buy for the money, and after buying 4 to replace all my firewire cables for my external hard drives i found that the plastic end caps of these cables will separate (not break, almost as if they're designed to do so) and when you remove the cable from a port, you are left with a flimsy plastic cap stuck in your port. I had 3 out of 4 cables all perform this way and had to break and tweeze out the remaining pieces from my 1TB WD hard drives. DO NOT BUY THESE CABLES!!!
