I purchased the drive brand new and used it as the replacement OS drive for my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. The drive performed well for 3 months and then unexpectedly died. There were no signals of pending failure or suspicious behavior prior to failure. So when it died I couldn't recover anything and basically all new documents since last backup were lost. As if this wasn't enough, I contacted the manufacturer of the SSD to get an RMA since the drive was under the warranty and the manufacturer proceeded with a torturous questionnaire for me to fill up. They wanted to know technical things such as if SATA settings that are in BIOS are set to AHCI or to IDE or what Bios version I'm using, etc. Ok, I'm quite technically inclined and I can figure things out but what if this was addressed to someone with no technical know how. After all, such 'replacement' hard drives as the one I bought are marketed as easy to replace as your cat's litter box. I don't know why they do that but it makes it hard for the common person to send back the faulty item. Anyway, I completed the questionnaire and emailed it back. Then I got a prepaid UPS label + RMA and instructions as to how to email the faulty hard drive back to the service center. A month passed by and I'm still waiting. So I emailed the service representative back asking about where is my hard-drive and I'm still waiting.

I had incidents in the past where electronic devices failed under the warranty period but I never had to wait for such a long time to have them serviced. For this reason, I give the SSD a one star not because it's of a lesser quality than other major brands but because the people who stand behind it seem to do a lousy job.
