iPhone 6 Screen Protector, Tech Armor Apple iPhone 6 (4.7 inch ONLY) High Defintion (HD) Clear Screen Protectors -- Maximum Clarity and Touchscreen Accuracy [3Pack] Lifetime Warranty
CUSTOMER REVIEW
We purchased two of the HD Clear Ballistic Glass Protectors after thoroughly researching the screen protection options that would be available on or before the launch date of the iPhone 6. This is my first purchase of any glass case and after experiencing the quality and ease of installation of a glass screen protector I will never purchase a flexible/non-glass protector ever again. The quality of the glass is exceptional and I was able to install two of these protectors with ease. If you are considering spending extra money to purchase a glass case I would highly recommend it.
The packaging and instructions were simple to understand. I would assume that the standard phone user would have no problem installing this glass as long as they spend five minutes prior to installation reviewing the instructions and online video.
This protector is receiving a 3.5 star rating (I've rounded up to four-stars) because I am slightly disappointed in the way that the glass fits. Tech Armor has mentioned that because of the iPhone 6's slight curve it has become necessary to cut the glass in such a way where it does not stretch on the phone past the point of the curve beginning. While I understand that it would be extremely costly and unreliable to manufacture a glass that is molded to the exact curvature of the phone, the glass is still to small. There is still a flat portion along the edge of the case which remains uncovered. The dimensions are not exact enough. TechArmor has indicated they are willing to send replacements and I would hope that customer service from TechArmor would reach out to me to initiate the replacement on the two glass case protectors that I purchased. If this were to happen I would reconsider the given rating.
Although TechArmor is now clearly advertising that the fit of the glass is not exact, as a buyer I wish is something they would have advertised prior to the launch date. I would have re-considered my purchase options had TechArmor been more up-front about the non-precise measurements of the glass.
